The Ministry of education and science of Ukraine, together with the Eastern Europe Foundation, has launched the #BraveKidsUkraine campaign aimed at supporting children during air alarms and creating comfortable conditions for their stay in shelters.
This was announced by the minister of education and science Oksen Lesnoy.
Famous people and opinion leaders from Ukraine and abroad encourage children in video messages. They say words of support, create exercises, tasks, games, and challenges. Everything that will help you find inner strength and regain a sense of resilience during an air alert, the Ministry said.
Lesnoy was the first to join the campaign — he recorded a video for children from a shelter, about how to stay brave and strong, despite the fear of an alarm.
Last year’s Eurovision winners Kalush Orchestra, singer Jamala, volunteer Sergey Pritula, as well as British actor Stephen Fry and children’s writer and TV presenter Nicola Davis also joined the program.
