Purpose and areas of activity

The main goal of the organization is to implement and protect the legal, social, economic, National, Public rights and interests of members of the organization – displaced persons with disabilities and their families, as well as other vulnerable categories of displaced persons/refugees – women, children, persons who are not mobile enough due to age, temporary disability, and chronic diseases. Assistance in improving living conditions, medical care, adaptation, employment, social and legal protection, psychological assistance, personal development and preservation of Ukrainian traditions and culture for people with disabilities, their families and other vulnerable categories of displaced persons / refugees affected by the war in 2014-2022

The main activities of the organization

Promoting the improvement of the social, legal, economic, cultural and other development of members of the organization and displaced persons with disabilities, their full support in the development and implementation of ideas that meet the goals of the organization.
Cooperation between state and public organizations of people with disabilities of Ukraine, with international organizations that deal with people with disabilities, and other vulnerable categories – women, children, persons who are not mobile enough due to age, temporary disability, and chronic diseases.
Establishing communication on understanding all aspects of the life of people with disabilities of Internally Displaced Persons in Ukraine and their families in different countries of the world.
Identification of needs, support of people on the ground, both in Ukraine and in other countries of the world.
Providing informational, legal, and psychological assistance.
Cooperation with state authorities in solving issues of social protection and rehabilitation of persons with disabilities. Communication with embassies of foreign countries in Ukraine, with public organizations, with volunteers, social services.
Assistance in adaptation and communication with communities where people with disabilities, their families and other vulnerable categories of displaced persons live.
Assistance in overcoming psychological trauma and depressive states (with the participation of specialists involved).

Assistance in self-employment and employment. Promotion of social protection measures, their involvement in socially useful activities, physical education and sports.
Assistance in learning how to use internet technologies.
Assistance in solving issues of medical, rehabilitation, technical, household and Career Guidance Plan.
Promotion of governmental and non-governmental interstate cooperation within the framework of the purpose of the organization's activities.
Dissemination of information about the organization's activities through the mass media, establishment of its own mass media in accordance with the current legislation.
Assistance in creating equal opportunities for persons with disabilities to participate in all spheres of public life (integration of persons with disabilities into society).
Promoting the formation of a state socially-oriented economy and participating in the creation of effective mechanisms for social protection of persons with disabilities.
Promoting the creation of conditions for unhindered access of persons with disabilities to social infrastructure.
Assistance in providing legal protection and realizing the rights of people with disabilities and persons with disabilities.
Promotion of assistance in improving the living and living conditions, trade and medical services for persons with disabilities.

Gunta Anca is a powerful human rights defender and a wonderful woman with a big heart, thanks to whom hundreds of people with disabilities from Ukraine were evacuated to Latvia where they received not only safety, shelter, care, but also possibility of communication, medical and psychological assistance.
Thanks to Gunta Anca, in cooperation with the European Disability Forum, affected people living in temporary accommodation centers and shelters have received personal hygiene means, food, medicine, linen, detergents, and buildings have been furnished with beds, washing machines, and auxiliary equipment for movement, etc.
We thank Gunta Anca for the great support of Ukrainians with disabilities!
