The last day of the Riga Academy. The training came to an end, and the participants had to summarise everything they had learned over the past five very active days.
Working together, we extracted the three most important lessons from each day. In this way, we formed a common understanding that people with disabilities are an equal part of every society, and that their NGOs are best placed to demonstrate this to their governments.
Afterwards, all participants received a certificate of participation in the Riga Academy for the knowledge gained during these days.
There were many warm words, joy at the opportunity and a little sadness that the training was over, and we had to return home to Ukraine. But this time, as we say goodbye, we are confident that this is just the beginning of an interesting new cooperation. We are already working to make Ukraine even more accessible to everyone after the victory in the war.
